A music piece performed by KIRANEE with Music Production by RISHI RICH in aid of WMHD
Updated: Sep 10, 2019
In aid of International World Mental Health Day in 2019, we at OUR MINDS MATTER are releasing a music track for the first time titled “DO YOU SEE ME?” to help raise awareness on the importance of Mental Health.
We are delighted to be working with one of the finest British Asian Music Producers of our generation, RISHI RICH to create a music piece which is aimed at reducing stigma around mental illness.
"DO YOU SEE ME" - The Story
The song is performed by KIRANEE who has composed and sung the song as well as writing the song with lyrics inspired by one of our own volunteers NICOLA YACOUB.
Our Minds matter founder JOLEL MIAH said, "It’s been great working with KIRANEE and RISHI RICH on this project. It is refreshing to tackle mental health awareness in this way, and at the charity, this is central to what we do."
Commenting on the music piece; RISHI RICH and KIRANEE add “Working collectively with OUR MINDS MATTER has been a very special experience. Being able to address such a sensitive yet crucial topic through music is something that we are very proud of. We are delighted that the charity thought of us to be able to reach out to the audience for support on something as important as Mental Health.”
How to listen, it's free but we welcome donations
